EWMBA eZine - Week of August 20, 2009

Announcements:

Here’s a message from the EWMBA Admissions office:

Prospective applicants repeatedly say that contact with YOU, our EWMBA current students, is one of the most valuable touch points throughout their decision making process. With that in mind, the EWMBA Admissions team has come up with 3 easy ways you can assist in the admissions process and help us attract next year’s top talent all while putting some of your Haas MBA acquired skills to good use.

1. SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES – volunteer to serve as a panel member at an upcoming information session or Diversity Conference; mix and mingle at the New Admit Receptions. If you would like to help, please email: mkihanya@haas.berkeley.edu .

2. SPACE – reserve an afterhours conference room at your company to host an EWMBA Information Session (5:30pm – 8:30pm).

3. CORPORATE LUNCHES – invite us to your company to speak to your fellow colleagues and employees. You provide the space, we’ll provide the lunch.

We really appreciate your help! For items 2 & 3, please contact Elisabeth Merkel at emerkel@haas.berkeley.edu; 510-642-0249 to discuss further details.
